Rev. Billy & the Trees of NYC Enviro Show
Greetings Earthlings. You've probably guessed that we here in New England aren't the only ones trying to save trees from needless destruction in the U.S. Down in Manhattan on the Eastside, the City of New York is in the process of destroying East River Park, cutting 991 trees and burying the park's 57-acre footprint under eight feet of landfill to build a storm surge barrier. Why not just build a sea wall and spare the trees? We'll ask our old friend Rev. Billy that very question.
OK folks! Do remember to........LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!
